Job description

About us:

At Aellia (formerly Intero - The Sniffers), we support our customers in understanding, managing, and improving their environmental emissions. We combine precise, real‑world emissions measurement with deep regulatory and operational expertise, turning field data into decision‑ready insight.

With more than 30 years of international field experience and operations across 40+ countries worldwide, our work is grounded in accredited methodologies, advanced analytics, and recognised standards, with hands‑on operational delivery. Our solutions include Advisory, Emissions Management and Pipeline Management, covering everything from emerging requirements to regulated environments.

We believe that lasting impact starts with strong values — and that’s what makes us EPIC. Therefore we:

  • Strive for Excellence

  • Put People First

  • Act with Integrity

  • Champion the Customer

These values form the backbone of our international projects and guide how we collaborate, communicate, and innovate within Aellia.

To further grow our leak detection activities in the German DSO market, we are looking for a Junior Sales Hunter.

Your Role

As a Junior Sales Hunter, you are Aellia’s first point of contact in the German market. You actively build new relationships, identify potential DSO clients, and lay the foundation for long‑term partnerships. The focus is on cold calling and outbound sales – you work proactively, in a structured way, and with genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people.

This position is ideal for someone looking to enter B2B sales, who enjoys working in a technical environment, and who is eager to grow within a scaling company.

Your Responsibilities

  • Active cold calling of German DSOs, municipal utilities (Stadtwerke), network operators, and industrial companies

  • Building and maintaining a qualified client pipeline via phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • Qualifying leads and scheduling first meetings

  • Market research: identifying key decision‑makers in the German DSO landscape

  • Maintaining the CRM system (contacts, activities, follow‑ups)

  • Regular reporting on your sales activities

Who Are We Looking For?

Must‑have:

  • Native‑level German (C2) – German is your primary sales language

  • First experience or strong motivation in outbound sales

  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and a positive attitude toward rejection

  • Ability to work independently and in a structured way in a remote setting

  • Interest in technical or industrial topics

Nice‑to‑have:

  • Proficiency in additional languages (English, Dutch, French, etc.) – a real plus

  • Experience selling to utilities, municipal operators, or network providers

  • Background in infrastructure, pipeline networks, or technical services

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)

  • Knowledge of DVGW standards

What We Offer

  • 100% remote – work from anywhere in Germany

  • Direct entry into a specialized, growing niche market

  • Onboarding and support from experienced colleagues

  • Clear growth path: performance is rewarded – progression to Senior Sales or Account Management is possible

  • Flat hierarchy and short decision lines within an international team

  • Competitive base salary + performance‑based bonus
